I started working in the Veterinary field in 2002 through a career work experience program in high school. I then decided to broaden my experience and passion for animals into an environmental law enforcement field as a Conservation Officer. Shortly after completing my training I was introduced to working K9’s in the enforcement field, which sparked a hidden passion for training animals; where I decided to take a Certified Professional Dog Trainers program and graduated with honors. It was in Feb 2012 I started my own dog training business, where I have expanded into K9 sport and wellness. Thus lead me back into the veterinary field in addition to training horses, dogs, and chickens.I currently share my home with four dogs – Tow Mateor, Trixx, Eevee and Captin Morgan; Snow the albino Corn Snake and Mustang the Rabbit.
Lah Lah came to us through the Fraser Valley Humane Society in 2006. She had been found malnourished with scabs all over her, and thin hair all over her body. She came to us to get spayed, and treatment. The FVHS asked if we wanted her for a clinic cat, and we decided to keep her for a couple weeks of recovery to try her out. Lah Lah became instantly a beloved member of our team, frequently visiting the other animals in the back to see how they are doing. So we decided to keep her here with us, and the rest is history. She loves most animals, especially dogs. She has filled a much needed spot in our clinic, and has many friends that come in just to see her.
